Alex Herzlinger
Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Alex brings healthcare industry expertise and a passion for entrepreneurship to You-T. Prior to founding You-T, Alex served as US Army infantry officer for eight years in a variety of leadership positions, including two combat tours in Iraq. Alex also has experience in consumer products supply chain management and healthcare industry sales.
Alex holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Tina Wu
Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Tina brings medical expertise and a passion for women’s health to You-T. Prior to founding You-T, Tina founded Support for International Change, an award-winning healthcare organization that provides HIV/AIDS prevention programs in East Africa. She has also served as the American Medical Student Association’s Global AIDS Fellow, educating large groups of physicians in training and policy-making.
Tina holds an MD from UCLA and an MBA from Harvard Business School and currently practices Emergency Medicine in New York City.
You-T Advisors
Gale Bensussen delivers health industry expertise. He founded Leiner Health Partners, one of the largest nutritional supplement manufacturers, and led the company until 2005. He has strong relationships with retailers such as Wal-Mart and Costco. He currently serves as an operating advisor to the wellness private equity firm North Castle Partners.
Dr. George Blackburn is considered one of the world’s foremost experts in nutritional medicine. He serves as Director of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s Center for Study of Nutrition Medicine, and has been instrumental to the development of breakthrough products throughout his 40 year career, including Slim-Fast®.
Professor Lena Goldberg provides legal and regulatory expertise. She served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Fidelity Investments for over a decade. She has created and taught courses on entrepreneurial law at MIT Sloan and HBS.
Professor Regina E. Herzlinger delivers unparalleled expertise and relationships within the consumer health sector. She was the first woman to be tenured at HBS and has served on the boards of dozens of Fortune 500 companies, including consumer health leaders. She coaches You-T on our strategy to drive clinician adoption.

Ralph and Molly Hoagland deliver retail pharmacy expertise. They founded Consumer Value Store in Lowell, MA in 1963, which grew into the pharmacy giant CVS. They have served as strategic advisors to CVS Corporation since. They have helped You-T develop its positioning strategy.
Dr. Amy Howell is a cranberry expert and an associate research scientist at Rutgers University Center for Cranberry Research. She helped to discover the mechanism of action for cranberries and UTI prevention. She has been published a number of times in journals including JAMA and NEJM. She has conducted You-T’s clinical trials and advises us on You-T’s research strategy.
Doug Rauch delivers supermarket channel expertise. In 31 years with Trader Joe’s, the majority as President, he played a pivotal role growing the company from a small local chain to a national powerhouse. He advises You-T on our product, marketing and distribution strategies.
